Earlier this week, Ben Howland and the Mississippi State basketball team lost to the Kentucky Wildcats in an incredibly disheartening and frustrating game on the road in Lexington, Kentucky. Tonight, however, the Bulldogs got a bit of redemption as they defeated the Auburn Tigers back home in Starkville. MSU got a much needed 92-84 victory over the Tigers.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs were led by senior guard Quinndary Weatherspoon, who had a phenomenal game against a pretty good team. Had the elder Weatherspoon brother not performed at the level that he did, the Mississippi State basketball team would have fallen tonight.
