After a Senior year consisting of 18.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game Quinndary Weatherspoon played his heart out among other NBA Draft prospects at the Portsmouth Invitational. Weatherspoon was the fourth leading scorer at the Invitational averaging 17.3 points per game over the three game tournament where his team Sales System, Ltd would finish as the runner-up. The buzz around Portmouth was that Weatherspoon appeared to be the best all-around prospect over the weekend as he displayed an improved offensive awareness and shot selection compared to his Bulldog days.
Now, Weatherspoon has secured an invite to the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago.
