Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott made the most of his final Southeastern Conference road game.
The SEC announced on Monday that Prescott was awarded the SEC’s Offensive Player of the Week award for the senior quarterback’s performance in MSU’s 51-50 win at Arkansas on Saturday.
Against the Razorbacks, Prescott became the first player in the SEC’s 83-year history to total 550-plus yards of total offense and account for seven touchdowns. Johnny Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, is the only other player in league history to rack up 550 or more yards in a single game.
