Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott is one of 50 players on the Walter Camp Football Foundation watch list to be its 2015 Player of the Year.
The list is comprised of 37 offensive players (22 quarterbacks) and 13 defensive players representing 38 schools. In mid-November, 10 semifinalists will be named and the winner will be announced on Dec. 10 live on ESPN’s SportsCenter.
Prescott broke 12 MSU records in 2014. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior from Haughton, La., completed 61.6 percent of his passes for 3,449 yards, 27 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while rushing for an additional 986 yards and 14 more scores.
