For fans of college athletics, September through May are great. You start off with football in September, get a little basketball in November before it picks up big time in January, and finish it off with Conference play in college baseball once the NCAA Basketball Tournament finishes in March.
But June (unless your team goes deep into the NCAA Baseball Tournament) through August are a grind for fans for college athletics. The same is true for Mississippi State football fans.
We now have a little over two months to wait for the Mississippi State football team to take the field for the first time in the 2017 season.
