It seems like every other year Bulldog Bash gets scheduled the night before an 11:00 a.m. kickoff for the football team. I know it happened in 2012 and 2014. I don't remember when it happened in 2013, but 2015 saw it scheduled the night before a 6:00 p.m. kickoff against LSU. It's a big event for the students of the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, so it always stinks when this happens.
Now none of the blame for this falls on the school. Bulldog Bash is usually scheduled months in advance and kickoff times usually aren't set until about two weeks before the game.
