For the first two quarters of Saturday night’s showdown, it looked like Mississippi State would run away and hide from the Arkansas Razorbacks. However, a disastrous 3rd quarter made things very interesting on a frigid night. While the quarterback play was superb on both sides, Dak Prescott added another chapter to his legacy with his first 500 yard passing game and added 7 total touchdowns for one of the finest games of his illustrious career.
Even with the game by Prescott, Mississippi State needed a huge field goal block by Beniquez Brown to preserve a 51-50 victory over the Hogs.
