The Bulldogs placed two players on offense and defense, and Mississippi State also ended up with a special teams representative.
Led by Dak Prescott, the Mississippi State Bulldogs placed five players on Phil Steele's Preseason All-SEC Team.
Prescott, who picked up first team honors at the quarterback position, was one of two Bulldogs to be named to the first team. Wide receiver De'Runnya Wilson joined Prescott as Bulldog representatives on the offensive side of the ball. The junior, who drew the attention of many in the 2014 season, picked up third team honors.
