No. 20 Mississippi State plays its final non-conference weekend series of the season.
But it just might be the Bulldogs’ most important. MSU welcomes ninth-ranked Oregon to Dudy Noble Field for a three-game set starting at 6:30 p.m. tonight. The teams will meet again Saturday at 2 p.m. and close out the series Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
“It’s really like another SEC weekend for us,” said MSU coach John Cohen. “(Oregon) is a really good club that could go deep into the postseason. It’s a great opportunity for us to get ready to play in the best league in America.
