TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Despite a solid defensive game from the Bulldogs, the No. 16 Mississippi State football team fell to No. 1 Alabama 24-0 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama continues its perfect season and improves to 10-0 (7-0 SEC), while the Bulldogs drop to 6-4 (2-4 SEC).
MSU wasn’t able to get things going offensively, but managed to hold the Crimson Tide to just 305 yards of offense—their lowest on the season. This is the first game of the season that Alabama was even held under 500 yards.
The Tide held a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and added another score in the second quarter to go up 21-0 at the half.
