STARKVILLE, Miss. — No. 9 Mississippi State Baseball is set to host No. 21 Southern Miss Golden Eagles in a three-game series this weekend at Dudy Noble Field.
Previously scheduled for 4 p.m., first pitch between the Bulldogs and Golden Eagles is now slated for 2 p.m. CT today due to the threat of inclement weather in the forecast. The squads will then play single games on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
This is the first top-25 matchup for the Bulldogs in the young 2019 campaign. The Bulldogs are 4-0 this year after sweeping Youngstown State in a three-game series last weekend and beating UAB 3-2 on Wednesday.
