Head coach Vic Schaefer and the Bulldogs are at it again, as they made a clear statement at home against Kentucky. Though Mississippi State is a defense first team, there was plenty of scoring in the 86-71 victory. In addition, the Bulldogs out rebounded the Wildcats 48-24. But it was the overall scoring show that put the basketball world on notice.
It started with senior Anriel Howard who led the team with 21 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block. Howard has become one of the game’s most lethal scoring threats. She is fearless and ready for the big moment.
