The Mississippi State men’s tennis team is starting the opening round of the NCAA Tournament today. The No. 7 ranked Bulldogs are hosting Tennessee Tech at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre on the Mississippi State University campus Starkville, Mississippi today to get the NCAA Championship going.
Mississippi State claimed the 6th seed in the tournament after a strong season in which the Bulldogs went 20-2. The Mississippi State men’s tennis team won the SEC Tournament in Tuscaloosa, beating Ole Miss, Florida, and Texas A&M in the process.
And, in that tournament, MSU avenged its only conference loss of the season by beating Texas A&M for the conference title.
