Led by upperclassmen Anriel Howard and Jordan Danberry, the sixth ranked team in the country made the most of the rivalry and took it to the Rebels. Now 24 -2 and 12 - 1 in conference play, the Bulldogs should see themselves back in the top five. Both Howard and Danberry scored in double digits, Howard with 21 and Danberry with 20 points. Howard added 10 rebounds.
The third quarter has been key for Mississippi State all season long. While the team has been known for getting off to slow starts, the Bulldogs seem to kick it into another gear come the start of the third.
