COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The No. 6 Mississippi State baseball team split a doubleheader with No. 14 Texas A&M Saturday evening on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park to claim the Southeastern Conference win.
MSU (38-10, 15-9 SEC) won the opening game of the serires by a score of 4-0 on Friday. Texas A&M (32-17-1, 12-11-1 SEC) won the first game of the doubleheader on Saturday 1-0, before State took the series finale, 4-3.

Freshman right-hander JT Ginn (8-3) allowed just one run on just three hits in six innings of work, but was charged with the loss in another pitcher’s duel.
