STARKVILLE, Miss. — Fresh off a combined no-hitter against Kent State, the No, 4 Mississippi State baseball team limited Grambling State to two hits in Tuesday’s 10-0 win at Dudy Noble Field.
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 9-3 (0-0 SEC), while the Tigers fall to 0-8 (0-3 SWAC).
Sophomore right-hander Will Bednar (1-0) started on the mound and struck out five of the six batters he faced in two innings pitched. The Bulldogs used eight pitchers total in the game. Freshman southpaw Dylan Carmouche, right-handed graduate student Riley Self, sophomore righties KC Hunt and Xavier Lovett, junior righty Parker Stinnett and senior righties Jaxen Forrester and Drew Talley each pitched an inning apiece.
