STARKVILLE, Miss. — No. 22 Mississippi State men’s basketball rallied past No. 16 Auburn 92-84 Saturday night at Humphrey Coliseum.
The Bulldogs improve to 15-4 (3-3 SEC), while Auburn falls to 13-6 (2-4 SEC).
The squads traded baskets until State jumped out to a 25-14 lead with 9:45 left in the first half.
The Tigers then went on a 6-0 run that pulled them within three at 38-35.
State made 10 three-pointers on 45.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc in the first half. Lamar Peters led all scorers with 12 points in the first half with four three pointers.
