STARKVILLE, Miss. — The No. 2 Mississippi State baseball team fell 11-5 on Saturday in the second game of a three-game series against the No. 3 Arkansas Razorbacks at Dudy Noble Field.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 17-6 (2-3 SEC), while the Razorbacks improve to 18-3 (4-1 SEC) and claim a series win.
MSU held a 4-1 lead through four innings, but Arkansas compiled nine runs between the fifth and seventh innings to take a commanding 10-5 lead. The Bulldogs scored their fifth run in the fifth inning. The Razorbacks added an insurance run in the ninth inning to end the game’s scoring at 11-5.
