No. 16 UK women rolls past No. 14 Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Maci Morris scored 17 points, Makayla Epps had 16 and No. 16 Kentucky took charge in the third quarter and rolled No. 14 Mississippi State 83-60 on Thursday night.

Reserves Taylor Murray and Alexis Jennings combined to score 25 points, going 10 for 11 from the foul line, for the Wildcats (18-6, 7-6 SEC), who won their third straight. Epps had eight rebounds and five assists and Evelyn Akhator had 12 rebounds as Kentucky had a 49-34 advantage on the boards.

Kentucky was up on the Bulldogs, who were 13-1 at home, 37-30 at the half and then outscored them 22-10 in the third.
