Though it was a battle throughout, the Bulldogs overcame adversity and earned their eighth win of the year.
As coach Nikki McCray-Penson preaches defense, the Bulldogs showed up. They forced 15 turnovers and capitalized when it mattered most. Mayah Taylor and Madison Hayes combined for eight steals on the night.
Offensively, Jessika Carter led the team with 19 points and nine boards. Aliyah Matharu continues to impress off the bench. She added 16 points, having shot 4-5 from distance. Look for Matharu to be more of a factor going forward.
In addition to her 10 points, Taylor posted eight assits.
