No. 14 Mississippi State outplayed by No. 7 Texas A&M 69-41

The Bulldogs were simply held in check, as the Aggies had their way throughout.

Jessika Carter was held to just two points, an aberration for the Bulldogs. As she was a non-factor, Mississippi State struggled in the paint. Aggie center Ciera Johnson posted a double-double that included 14 points and 12 boards.

Only two Bulldogs were in double-figures. While Myah Taylor and Rickea Jackson did combine for 25 points, it was not enough. Aliyah Matharu was also held to just seven points.

Texas A&M’s guards were on point from opening tip. Kayla Wells led the team with 19 points.
