While it was not an offensive showcase, the Bulldogs overcame their toughest test thus far in the season.
Jessika Carter was one of four Bulldogs in double figures, having posted a double-double that included 17 points and 11 boards. Rickea Jackson added 15 and a pair of blocks. Myah Taylor finished with 10 along with four assists and two steals.
Aliyah Matharu continues to be a spark off the bench, as she poured in 11 key points. Matharu has emerged the leader of Mississippi State’s second unit. Though streaky at times, Matharu is a capable scorer from anywhere on the floor.
