Mississippi State has a new radio “Voice of the Bulldogs” for football and basketball, a seat that’s been occupied by either Jim Ellis or Jack Cristil since 1953. For Neil Price, he can’t wait to begin.
“I’ve been overwhelmed by all the kindness from the folks at Mississippi State,” Price told listeners on “Head to Head Radio.”
Price, a Middle Tennessee State alum, grew up in Tennessee and cites former Vols play-by-play legend John Ward as the guy leading him to what would be his calling.
“As a seventh-grader, my dad and I were listening to a Tennessee game one day,” Price said.
