Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen was selected as one 23 coaches to earn a spot on the Dodd Trophy watch list, awarded annually to the coach who represents programs with leadership, scholarship and integrity on and off the field.
Mullen is entering his seventh season with the Bulldogs and owns a 46-31 overall record and a 22-26 mark inside Southeastern Conference play.
Last season, Mullen guided MSU to a 10-3 record and a five-week stint at No. 1. The Bulldogs also appeared in the Orange Bowl in 2014, marking the fifth consecutive bowl game.
