Mississippi State’s women’s basketball team finished third in the Southeastern Conference standings last season.
Vic Schaefer‘s Bulldogs were also picked third by the media for the 2015-16 campaign as well with sophomore guard Victoria Vivians earning a spot on the Preseason All-SEC team.
Vivians was an Associated Press All-American honorable mention and a second-team All-SEC selection last year averaging 14.9 points per game.
South Carolina received 265 points and was picked to win the league followed by Tennessee at 248 and MSU at 215. Ole Miss was picked sixth, receiving 169 points.
