It’s another day and another accolade for Dak Prescott.
The Mississippi State senior was one of 30 quarterbacks named to the Manning Award watch list on Thursday, adding to an already impressive list of preseason honors for the MSU signal caller.
Previously this offseason, Prescott was named to watch lists for the 2015 Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, the Maxwell Award, the Davey O’Brien Award and the Wuerffel Trophy.
Additionally, Prescott was chosen by Southeastern Conference media members as a preseason first-team All-SEC selection. He was also named to All-American squads by a pair of publications, earning second-team recognition by Athlon Sports and getting a third-team mention by Phil Steele.
