Friday was a busy day in MSU athletics, let’s take a look at what happened….
1. The Lady Bulldogs knocked off #12 seed Chattanooga in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, 60-50. Victoria Vivians poured in 19 and Chinwe Okorie added 12 more.
Chattanooga actually had a five point lead after the 1st quarter, but State dominated the 2nd quarter to take an eight point lead into halftime and kept them at arm’s length for the rest of the game.
Huge game tomorrow vs. Michigan State. We’ll need the Hump rocking as we try to get to only the second Sweet 16 in program history (2010).
