Thirty-six Mississippi State Bulldogs officially earned their academic degrees in 2015 spring commencement ceremonies held on campus.
For the first time in school history, Bulldog scholarship athletes finished the fall and spring semesters with over a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. MSU female scholarship athletes posted their highest semester GPA ever this spring (3.3) highlighted by coach Aaron Gordon’s soccer program with a 3.56.
Baseball standout Seth Heck, who was named the Southeastern Conference Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Monday, tallied a perfect 4.0 this semester while maintaining a 3.91 cumulative GPA in graduating in business management.
