When a team loses early in the college football season, it’s pretty easy to get down and write off the season and less than you’d hoped. After all, you spent all summer circling that first conference game and figuring out how the game could, and should be won. When it ends up as a loss, expectations and adjusted and the hope for great things seems to disappear.
But just because MSU lost to LSU in Week 2 doesn’t mean this season is lost. Far from it. Next week’s game at Auburn presents a chance to make a run at the SEC West.
