Mississippi State Bulldogs linebacker Kelan Chairs was arrested Monday for driving with a suspended license after being pulled over by campus police for running a red light.
Chairs’ arrest was reported by InsideMSUSports.com. No reason has been given for why his license was suspended in the first place.
A walk-on linebacker, Chairs has had that status for the past three years and has posted five tackles in nine games. He has appeared in both Bulldogs’ games this season, but has not posted any statistics.
There’s little chance that he will face much discipline from coach Dan Mullen for simply driving with a suspended license, but Campus Sports will update this story if any new information becomes available.
