Moon growing comfortable at center

Harrison Moon spent much of his first year at Mississippi State working at offensive tackle.

But the Bulldogs’ coaching staff made the choice to move the redshirt freshman to center during the spring.

The new position may have been foreign to Moon at first but he has steadily worked to improve his snapping.

“It was a pretty tough transition,” Moon said. “I’d never snapped a ball in my life until I came here. That’s different and I’m still working on that but I’m feeling a lot more comfortable.”

Moon has spent countless hours in the dorm during the spring and summer snapping to fellow Chattanooga, Tennessee native and MSU quarterback Nick Tiano, something he says has really helped develop his skill.
