When the Mississippi State baseball team made it to Omaha, fans were excited. Most didn’t know how far they would go in the 8 team tournament, but despite everything the team had gone through in the season, most fans were ready to just enjoy the trip to Omaha.
But as the Mississippi State baseball team had done repeatedly since their series win over the Ole Miss Rebels, the Bulldogs simply weren’t content to just show up in Omaha.
