Tragedy struck the Mississippi State football program on Friday night. On the way to a game at Pascagoula High School, Mississippi State true freshman defensive lineman Keith Joseph Jr. and his father Keith Sr., a former Bulldogs standout, were killed in a car accident.

Head coach Dan Mullen and athletic director Scott Stricklin released a statement on Friday.
