The Bulldogs finished out their home stand in grand fashion.
Mississippi State turned in a performance befitting of their No. 8 ranking in the nation Sunday afternoon as they shellacked Savannah State 92-25 at the Humphrey Coliseum.
Victoria Vivians, a Wooden Award candidate, led the offensive charge by pouring in 27 points on 10 of 18 shooting. Kayla Nevitt finished with 12 points. One leading cause of many of the baskets had to do with the Bulldogs ability to set up good shots with a pass. The team collected 27 assists on 31 shots. Morgan William led the way with the assists, picking up eleven, which is sixth best in program history.
