At 32-1, the Mississippi State women’s basketball team is heading to Kansas City to be the number 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament there. For the first time ever, Mississippi State will be the top seeded team in a region. This comes on the heels of MSU earning the highest end of season ranking in program history.
As the 4th ranked team, Mississippi State will get an opportunity to fight its way back to a national title game. After losing in the last game of the year last season, the Bulldogs have high aspirations for this year’s postseason play.
