Mississippi State’s women’s basketball team moved to 3-0 after taking down Tulane in Biloxi, Mississippi. The ninth ranked Bulldogs came away with a 66-49 victory on the coast.
The game was never close as Vic Schaefer’s squad jumped out to 36-16 lead in the first half. While the Bulldogs were outscored 33-30 in the second half, the comfortable lead allowed MSU to coast to an easy victory over Tulane.
Victoria Vivians paced the Bulldogs in points with 17 on 6-17 shooting and 2-7 from behind the arc. Vivians also snagged a pair of rebounds in her 28 minutes on the court.
