Following an 11-game stretch on the road, the Diamond Dawgs have a five-game home slate at the $55 million newly constructed stadium.
The Diamond Dawgs are coming into the game with three straight wins following the Shriner’s College Classic. They beat Louisiana 3-1, Houston 3-2 and Sam Houston State 4-1.
Right-hander Cole Marsh (0-0, 0.00 ERA) is expected to get the start on the mound for MSU. New Mexico State’s starting pitcher is yet to be announced.
