STARKVILLE, Miss. - Exactly two months ago, the Mississippi State volleyball program earned a straight-sets victory in Oxford that stood as the highlight of a young season.
Today may have been a little bit sweeter.
Taking the court for the final time in 2015, the Mississippi State Bulldogs (17-15, 6-12 SEC) took down in-state rival Ole Miss (22-11, 8-10 SEC), 3-1, to secure the program's first winning season since 2006.
"That was an unbelievable match by our girls. I honestly could not be more proud of how they played today and how they've ended this season," MSU first-year coach David McFatrich said.
