Rowdey Jordan’s grand slam in the bottom of sixth inning led the Diamond Dawgs (8-5) to a 6-0 win over the New Mexico State Aggies (8-6).
MSU took a 1-0 lead after Elijah MacNamee drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs. Jordan then blasted his grand slam to give them a 5-0 lead.
In the seventh inning, Justin Foscue walked and then advanced on a Josh Hatcher single. He later scored on a wild pitch to give the Diamond Dawgs one more run, and a 7-0 lead.
Mississippi State had 10 hits on the evening, which was led by two hits apiece from Hatcher, Luke Alexander and Jake Mangum.
