Mississippi State continued their winning ways over the weekend and through last night as their 15 game winning streak has carried them to a 19-3 record. They were pushed at times during the Bulldog Slamboree Tournament, but a superior level of talent carried them through and got them another invitational tournament championship.
Going back through last Friday, they defeated their 6 opponents by a margin of 28-9, including a run rule victory over Central Arkansas on Sunday and a comeback win over Samford in 12 innings.
The Bulldogs showed resiliency when they were challenged by Samford, as they found themselves down 5-2 in the 12th inning but a pair of home runs by Reggie Harrison and Caroline Seitz gave the Bulldogs the walk off win.
