Coming off of their first overtime victory on the road since 2004, Mississippi State will head to Hattiesburg for a Sunday matchup against Southern Miss set for 5pm.
The meeting marks the seventh consecutive season in which the Bulldogs (3-2-0) and Golden Eagles (3-0-0) have squared off with Mississippi State only dropping one the six previous matches.
Friday night, the Bulldogs snapped a three game losing skid against South Alabama win a 2-1 victory in double overtime. The Jaguars took a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute of the game, but Kennadi Carbin hit the equalizer in the 66th minute of the contest.
