Mississippi State season review: Good-bye, Dak

Prescott ends his career as arguably the greatest Mississippi State player ever. Prescott finishes with 11,897 total yards — third-most in SEC history — and 111 touchdowns — fourth-most in league history. In addition, he is just the fourth player in FBS history to finish with 9,000 passing yards and 2,500 rushing yards, joining Colin Kaepernick, Dan LeFevour and Tim Tebow.

The Bulldogs as a team achieved their sixth consecutive bowl appearance in 2015, which also is a school record, under coach Dan Mullen.

The Bulldogs’ biggest deficiencies were their offensive line and running game – both of which reared their ugly heads in the Bulldogs’ two biggest games of the year, losses to Alabama and Ole Miss.
