STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State was completely dominated by rival Ole Miss in Tuesday’s 64-46 loss at Humphrey Coliseum.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 9-6 (4-3 SEC), while the Rebels improve to 7-6 (2-4 SEC). The Rebels have now defeated the Bulldogs in 11 of the last 15 meetings overall.
Redshirt sophomore guard D.J. Stewart Jr. scored 18 points on 7-for-16 shooting to lead MSU. Redshirt sophomore forward Tolu Smith was the only other Bulldog to score double figures and finished with 10 points, two of which came in the final three minutes of the game.
