Mississippi State men’s basketball opens SEC play against Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. — The Mississippi State men’s basketball team opens its 18-game Southeastern Conference schedule on Wednesday on the road against the Georgia Bulldogs. Tip time at Stegeman Coliseum is set for 6 p.m. CT and will be televised by SEC Network.

Mississippi State (5-3) is coming off a pair of nonconference victories over Central Arkansas (81-65) and Mississippi Valley State (87-48).

In its last game, MSU had five players score in double figures. Sophomore guard Iverson Molinar finished with a game-high 18 points. He also added five rebounds, five assists and two steals.
