NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The No. 9 seed Mississippi State men’s basketball team opens the Southeastern Conference Tournament with a second-round game against No. 8 seed Kentucky on Thursday at 11 a.m. CT inside Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The game will air on SEC Network.
The winner of Thursday’s game advances to face top-seed and sixth-ranked Alabama in Friday’s quarterfinal round. Tip time for that game is slated for 11 a.m. CT on ESPN.
The Bulldogs (14-13, 8-10 SEC) won three of their last five to close the regular season. Last time out, though, MSU fell to Auburn 78-71.
