Auburn had its way with Mississippi State on Saturday, dominating the Bulldogs in every phase of the game and cruising to a 38-14 victory in Starkville.
Teams lose football games weekly and sometimes scores get out of hand, but it’s not the score of Saturday’s game that should trouble Mississippi State fans; it’s the way things transpired.
Lack of effort, stupid penalties and missed assignments plagued the Bulldogs all day. Their play drew criticism from former Mississippi State running back Anthony Dixon, the leading rusher in school history.
Dixon took to Twitter to unleash a tirade.
