Three-star defensive end Fabien Lovett has committed to Mississippi State.
Lovett, from Olive Branch (Miss.) High, announced his decision Friday night on Twitter.
“Committed,” Lovett wrote with Mississippi State images attached to the tweet.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound Lovett chose the Bulldogs over Alabama and Ole Miss, among others. He received his offer from Mississippi State in January and took an unofficial visit to the school last month.
Lovett is ranked by 247Sports Composite as a top-35 strong-side defensive end and top-20 overall prospect in Mississippi.
With his commitment, Mississippi State now has 22 commitments in its 2018 recruiting class, including its second defensive end and third overall defensive lineman.
