Brandon Bryant showed star potential during his redshirt-freshman season in Starkville. The speedy defensive back was all over the field, grabbed three interceptions, and even took one pick back to the house.
Unfortunately, Bryant’s sophomore campaign was not as productive as his first season. Some of that can be contributed to a change in the defensive coordinator, but he did not look like himself. I expect Bryant to bounce back in a big way under Todd Grantham. Athlon Sports even has him on their All-SEC fourth-team.
