After what was one of the worst first halves of football that the Mississippi State football team could have played, the Bulldogs have found themselves only down by a touchdown to LSU. The Bulldogs have played poor football for the most part, but MSU is still holding on.
Most of that is due to the defense stifling everything that LSU has attempted to do so far. The Bulldogs’ are playing great defense but are horribly inept on offense. Nick Fitzgerald has already thrown two picks and only completed 3 of his 9 pass attempts.
The Mississippi State football team has looked this bad on offense on two other occasions this season.
