Well, that first half could have gone better. There’s plenty of reasons to hate how the first half went for the No. 14 Mississippi State football team. The Bulldogs are currently in the midst of a 7-7 tie with the Kentucky Wildcats.
And this game has been defined by absolutely sloppy play.
Right now, the two teams combined don’t even have 300 total yards of offense. MSU has seven penalties and 49 penalty yards. The Bulldogs have played anything but disciplined football against Kentucky.
And that’s why things are tied up.
If you’re a Mississippi State football fan, you’re likely some mixture of disappointed, frustrated, and upset that the Bulldogs are tied up at halftime after a couple of quarters of awful execution on both sides of the ball.
